Great news – Founder’s District Television (FDTV) wants you!
FDTV is inspired by Toastmasters International and has changed it’s filming format for the 2018-2019 season and wants, nay – we need your talented writing skills. What does this entail? I’m glad you asked.
Our all volunteer crew films once a month at iWink Studios in Irvine, CA, from 6:00 to 9:00 pm and reads a short script approximately 200-300 words, which you write. Or you may prefer to act out your own script on camera. Either way works for us.
We cover a standard theme for the film shoot each month, for example September’s session will address “body language” on four of the six segments:
1. Pathways
2. Q&A
3. Editorial
4. Educational
5. News – reports the Founder’s District news and the theme does not necessarily apply
6. Jokes – typically brief jokes or one-liners and the theme does not necessarily apply

The goal is to deliver fun and entertaining scripts, which you already do for your Toastmasters speeches. We will share and collaborate on how to write and edit clean, informative, and funny scripts.
If you are interested, please contact us at FDTV and let us know you’d like to participate. You are always welcome to sit in on a filming if you’re just interested in how this work at FDTV. We are in the studio every third Thursday of the month. Go ahead and stop by for a chat.
This is your opportunity to be behind OR in front of the camera. Lots of options.
